*Pre-Made* fully 3d printed super light nylon modular wire armature.

Offering a new affordable option for students and animators who are interested in learning/practice with a stopmotion character. This armature features a hinged elbow and knee designed to relieve stress away from key bending parts on the wire, therefore extending the life span of the armature.

In the event that the wire does break the limb can easily be replaced via the modular system.

The fully 3d printed super light nylon armature. Offering a new affordable option for students and professional animators who are interested in learning/practice with a high performance wire armature. The armature is approximately 24 cm tall.

What separates this wire armature from the rest?

  • Hinge elbow and knees to relieve stress away from key areas.

  • Replaceable limb design allowing broken wire to be replaced.

  • Protective tube that protects the wire from being damaged when securing the replacement limb in place.

  • Square rigging points (3/16, 4.76mm) to allow for rigging. (rigging points located in the Chest: centre front/back. Hips: front, sides and back).

This pack contains:

1x fully assembled 3d printed wire armature (which includes 1x head, 2x eyes secured in place with "tacky wax", 1x chest, 1x hips, 2x arm hinges, 2x leg hinges, 2x feet hinged, 16x m3 grub screws, 2x m3 tie down bolts and 2x wing nuts)

Kit also includes: 2x allen keys, approximately 2 metre 1.5mm wire reel, approximately 1 metre 1mm wire reel, 2 spare grub screws, 16 spare limb tubes, 4 spare smaller wrist tubes and an alternative 3d printed rig tube to be glued on a wire rig of your choosing. Rig size 3/16 (4.8mm)

Warning do not:

Replace wire white nylon tubes with alterntive metal options. Attempting to secure metal or other plastics tubes in the grey body part tubes will damage thread and damage the product itself.

Keep small parts away from children as they can be a choking hazard.

Please treat all included parts with safety in mind. modifying parts may create dust or micro particles. If dust is created please wear a protective dust mask to avoid breathing dust or fumes and avoid ingestion of materials such as metals, wire or plastics.
